Technology has been and continues to be a boon to people with disabilities, especially children.Mobile devices like the iPad, enable children with developmental delays and other special needs to acquire life skills, engage in self-directed play, and perhaps most importantly facilitate communication with their caregivers.

Sessions are geared towards supporting parents and teachers in the educational process. Our online courses offer convenient access to up-to-date information and practical guidance for parents, teachers and therapists supporting children with Down syndrome. LP Online sessions support development of reading, comprehension and math skills, and address general topics related to accessing curriculum, fostering independence and memory. This extra attention is necessaryand beneficialfor these kids because they: 1. LP Online consists of ten sessions from The Learning Program's face to face program offered through webinars in live and on-demand formats. Because children with disabilities like Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities learn differently from neurotypical children, they often benefit from learning ADLs both in a school setting and at home. LP Online equips participants with knowledge and tools to work effectively with students with Down syndrome in home and school settings. LP Online is an online learning community based on The Learning Program and serves as a platform for sharing strategies, resources and activities to improve academic outcomes for students with Down syndrome.
